VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?

Drew: Something that basketball has taught me I use in my daily life is to never let anything affect my mood, there’s always the next play

VYPE: Why are you passionate about your sport?

Drew: I’m passionate about basketball because I want to play as long as I can so I work to get me to where I want to go.

VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team? 

Drew: My favorite part about being on a team is the bonds that are created throughout the years.

VYPE: When and how did you first get into playing your sport?

Drew: When I was three and my dad introduced me to basketball when I was at my cousin’s house.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you?

Drew: Dylan Snow because during my freshman year he was my mentor and helped me through every situation I dealt with.

VYPE: Which professional athlete do you look up to?

Drew: Sharife Cooper is a professional athlete that I look up to because I used to watch him so much growing up.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade?

Drew: My favorite teacher is my kindergarten teacher and that’s because she’s my neighbor and we still talk to this day.

VYPE: Who inspires you?

Drew: My dad inspires me because I know he works his hardest to provide for me and my family and I want to be just like him.

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?

Drew: Anywhere I could go for vacation would be Greece because of how beautiful it is there, and someone I would take is my mom because she’s always wanted to go there.
