2024-2025 Yukon Millers Girls Basketball – Presented by Roger Karns – Michael Snodgrass – Shelter Insurance

Coach: Roy Wyckoff

23-24 Record: 20-8

OUTLOOK

After a 20-win season, the Millers and head coach Roy Wyckoff are fired up for another season on the court.

“Yukon girl’s basketball is coming off its winningest season in almost 30 years. We were four points away from the school’s first ever 6A girls basketball state tournament appearance last season and are hoping to build on that success. We bring back five of the top seven in minutes played. Will look to play full court pressure man-to-man defense night in and night out and rely on ball movement and spacing to run our flow style offense,” said Wyckoff.

VYPE Top 100 selectee Kenlea Jefferson (5-2, Jr.) is back after averaging 8.7 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game. Jefferson has started every game since her freshman year and has been the 2nd leading scorer each of her first two seasons. Jefferson led the Millerettes in three-pointers made and loves to have the ball in her hands when the game is on the line. Another guard to watch is Ashley Cox (5-8, Sr.). Cox averaged 5.9 points, 1.4 rebounds, and 1.0 steals a game. The pair will cause problems for opposing teams.

Kalli Harbeson (5-5, Sr.) and Rylee LaRue (5-10, Sr.) will play key roles again this season. Both players averaged nearly 4.0 points a game and 2.0 rebounds. Harbeson will play guard with LaRue playing forward.

Addison Pivniska (6-0, Sr.) can play a wing spot or center giving the Millerettes a player who can provide quality minutes in the paint. Pivniska averaged 4.6 points and 2.9 rebounds a game. Also look for newcomer Raelyn Williams (5-9, Fr.) to make an impact in the rebound department. The freshman has been called an elite rebounder and someone who can make an impact this season.

Other players to watch include Chyve Jenkins (5-0, Fr.), Haydin Bowman (5-5, So.), Kamiyah Porter (5-9, Fr.), and Kalee Morey (5-8, Jr.). For more on Yukon Millerettes basketball, follow them @yukon_millerettes_bball_
