2024-25 Record: 9-16

OUTLOOK

The Mustang Broncos charge into the season with real momentum and a roster that has the potential to push the program into the upper tier of class 6A. Head coach Brandon Jackson returns with a lineup that is athletic skilled and deeper than it has been in several years. After an offseason of intense workouts and a competitive summer circuit the Broncos believe they possess the right blend of size pace and scoring to challenge major contenders.

Senior guard Drew Reynolds (6-3) arrives after a standout run at Yukon where he proved himself as a dynamic scorer who can shoot from deep attack the basket and lead with veteran composure. His ability to create shots in pressured moments gives Mustang a trusted late game option. Reynolds averaged 14 points and 3.0 assists per game. Junior guard Gabe Osborne Jr. (6-3) brings power and explosiveness that elevate the pace and physicality of the backcourt. He thrives at getting downhill and finishing through contact while also guarding the opponent top perimeter threat. Osborne accounted for 12 points and 4.0 rebounds at Putnam City last season.

Sophomore point guard Scyon Wilborn (5-9) gives Mustang tempo and creativity. His quickness and vision allow the Broncos to thrive in transition and his improvement as a decision maker has been noticeable. Forward Garrett Smith (6-7) anchors the interior with length and rebounding while senior Gavin Milligan (6-4) provides scoring leadership and a steady presence after transferring from Luther. Milligan averaged 18 points and 8.0 rebounds at LHS. Also look for Marquell Robinson (6-3, Jr.) who also comes over from PCO after averaging 12 points and 6.0 rebounds a game. Others to watch are Jaden Johnson (6-0, Sr.), Jaytee Johnson (6-0, Sr.), and Brayden Cox (6-2, Jr.).

Mustang plans to attack opponents with speed and constant pressure on both ends of the floor. With a deeper bench and players capable of scoring from every position on the court the Broncos look poised to make a legitimate push in a loaded class six A field.
