Mustang’s Kynlie Langerman – FFA Spotlight – Presented by Oklahoma AgCredit

Currently a sophomore at Mustang High School, Kynlie Langerman is looking forward to
starting her junior year in the fall and continuing another year of FFA. Langerman joined
FFA as a freshman and has competed in Opening and Closing Ceremonies and Creed
Speaking.
“I first got involved in FFA my freshman year. I was always around FFA when my older
sister was in high school. Seeing all of my sister’s accomplishments and fun experiences, I
really wanted to get involved. I really enjoy all of the memories I’ve made with friends in
class or at events,” said Langerman.
Langerman said anyone thinking of joining the FFA should look at the opportunities the
program provides.
“For a student wanting to join FFA, I would tell them to go for it because there are so many
opportunities to find what you love, and the people are so welcoming and passionate about
what they do. FFA builds leadership and networking opportunities that will benefit them
through their life,” said Langerman.
Also a member of National Honor Society and the varsity cheer team, Langerman said her
coaches have been a big influence in her life.
“My coaches have been the biggest influence on me. They have taught me how to conquer
my fears. They have taught me about hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship. They’ve
taught me to be myself and be proud of it. I am so thankful for their support and all the life
lessons,” said Langerman. “The cheer program has had such an impact on my life. My
coaches are amazing and have taught me so many amazing things. I love the bonds I have
made with every girl on the team. We have all been through so much together and grown
super close. I love everything about cheer, from football and basketball games to competing
in all of our competitions throughout the season. I am so proud to be a part of the Mustang
cheer program. In addition to cheer, I have been a competitive power tumbler for 14 years.
I love everything about tumbling. The gym is like my second home and my team my second
family. I have been a member of the AAU national team for two years and I have won
several national championships. I am also a recipient of the Amber Delancey Memorial
award.”
Langerman plans to attend Oklahoma State University when her high school days come to
