PIEDMONT WILDCATS
Coach: BRIAN BEALE
2024-25 Record: 12-12
OUTLOOK
The Wildcats enter the 2025-26 season with their hopes riding on the shoulders of several seniors who make their return for their final season of prep basketball. Head coach Brian Beale is excited to return a group that features scoring, defense and experience.
“Piedmont is a senior led team looking to build on last year’s season. With a few additions this team is looking forward to contending for a district title this season,” coach Beale said.
Leading the way is Hudson Hite (6-4, Sr.), a guard with tremendous size and athleticism. Last season Hite averaged 18 points and 6.0 rebounds per game. He currently sits at 948 career points and was the team leader in points and rebounds a year ago. Hite’s impact is significant.
Carter Hainrihar (6-0, Sr.) joins Hite in the backcourt where he benefits from all the attention Hite will garner. Last season Hainrihar averaged 10 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.7 assists. Jacob Campbell (6-4, Jr.) is a hybrid type player who pitched in 5.0 points and 3.0 rebounds as a sophomore. Campbell can force an opponent into a mismatch giving the Wildcat offense an advantage.
Also look for Avery Lehman (6-5, Sr.) at forward, Hudson Hornberger (6-3, Sr.) at forward and Diron Carter (5-10, Sr.) at guard. Carter averaged 4.0 points and 3.5 assists last season.
Keep an eye on underclassmen like Kobe Tetteh (6-0, So.) at guard and Jeremiah Millhouse (Fr.), who is a promising young guard who played a lot of minutes and made a big impact on the team this summer.
