VYPE: Kadence, what grade are you in and what position do you play?
Kadence Hardman: I’m a senior and I play goalkeeper.
VYPE: What has sports taught you that makes you a better person?
KH: Sports has taught me that other people always come before myself and to always work hard to keep other people from taking my spot.
VYPE: Who inspires you?
KH: I’m inspired by all the Special Olympic kids I play sports with because they always give 100 percent effort in everything.
VYPE: What former or current teammate left an impression on you?
KH: Callie Logan left an impression on me because she was a big mentor for me and was always there for me when I needed something.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade?
KH: Mrs. Gorman 3rd because she helped me to find my love for learning.
VYPE: What’s your favorite thing about representing your school?
KH: Getting to see the younger kids and the future of Piedmont soccer in the stands.
VYPE: What’s the best advice you have been given?
KH: Forget about the last goal and move on to the next.
VYPE: Do you have a professional player you look up to?
KH: Russel Westbrook because he is not only a good athlete but a good person.
VYPE: Who would you like to give a shoutout to?
KH: Thanks to my mom, coach t, and my best friends for getting me through the sport.
