VYPE: How long have you played soccer?
Hattie Morris: I have been playing soccer for 13 years.
VYPE: What first got you interested in the sport?
HM: My parents put me in a couple of sports when I was younger, and soccer was one of the three.
VYPE: Do you have a favorite memory in your time competing for your high school?
HM: My favorite memory is playing in the state finals my sophomore year and winning.
VYPE: What motivates you to be your best?
HM: Myself really. I always want to play my best because I feel like I let down the team if I don’t.
VYPE: What do your teammates mean to you?
HM: My teammates are very special to me and are a part of my love for the sport.
VYPE: What song hypes you up before a game?
HM: I usually listen to rock like Green Day and Linkin Park.
VYPE: What is your go to post-game meal?
HM: Whatever is leftover in our hospitality room, but always fruit.
VYPE: Who do you look to as a role model and why?
HM: My mom. She is determined and works hard for everything. She is who I inspire to be.
VYPE: What are your plans after high school?
HM: My plans are to play soccer at Seminole State College and go into business.
