
VYPE: What is your favorite part about baseball and what position do you play?
Aiden Williams: Getting to compete and challenging myself. I am a right-handed pitcher and outfielder.
VYPE: What life lessons has baseball taught you that you use in your daily life and what is the best advice you have been given?
AW: Even through failure you can find a way to better yourself. The best advice is to just have fun.
VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team and where does your passion for baseball come from?
AW: The best part of being on a team is having fun playing baseball with all my friends. I am passionate about baseball because I grew up around it; my whole family is involved in it.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
AW: Kaden Cummings, because he went 100% no matter what it was like practice, school, work, you name it. He was the hardest working guy there.
VYPE: Who inspires you and why?
AW: My parents inspire me because every day they push me to become a better version of myself and they truly want me to succeed in what I love to do.
VYPE: What has been your favorite memory and/or accomplishment of playing?
AW: Throwing a no-hitter in my first high school start.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?
AW: My favorite teacher is Mrs. Sellers, freshman through junior year, because she always gives me food in class.
VYPE: What is the most memorable vacation you have taken and why?
AW: Going to see my mom’s family in South Africa.
