Payton Milhoan is all about Volleyball. She is a Sophomore at Yukon High School but she was wowing the crowd her Freshman year when she made the Varsity team. She plays Club and High School Volleyball and she has learned through her sport one doesn’t have to be perfect to be excellent. No one is perfect, but powering through and doing the absolute best for the team, this is excellence.
Inspiration abounds for Payton from her 3rd grade teacher, Stacy Elder to the upperclassmen at Yukon High. They’ve all promoted a positive outlook and respect for everyone while building her confidence and self esteem.
Payton feels like she has learned from the best so far in her Volleyball career. Incredible athletes like Jasmine Liongco, Rylie Trann, and Gigi Devarenne who work hard at all their endeavors and are true team leaders, keep Payton motivated.
This girl hopes to take all she’s learned and turn around and inspire young athletes who might be coming up behind her and help them excel in the sport she fell in love with.
Payton remembers the great advice she once received to “believe in yourself” so you can accomplish your dreams……and close your block (wink wink!)
Payton has been involved in Club Volleyball for almost 4 years and she says her dad has been the biggest supporter for her. He cheers her on, gets her what she requires, and is always right there anytime she needs him to be.
